Sunday May 24th, The Island Packet posted an ad about State Representative Bill Herbkersman name calling in emails to Skip Hoagland after he is sent emails to Bill Herbkerman about the corruption and misuse of tax dollars thats been going on in Beaufort and Hilton Head for years with no oversight or receipts on how those tax dollars are being spent.
Skip Hoagland is a well known business man and has lived in the Hilton Head area for many years. Over the last 5 plus years, Mr Skip Hoagland has been a truth seeker trying to inform and fight the curroption in the City of Hilton Head, beaufort county, Charleston, Columbia and Myrtle Beach. Mr. Hoagland has been consistant and has attended as many city and county council meetings to ask questions of elected officials with little results. Not one City or County council will answer Mr. Skip Hoaglands FOIA request stating they have a "Secret Sauce" that they can not expose. Secret Sauce? Why is is legal for non-profit organizations or companies who recieve tax dollars from South Carolina residence not to comply with FOIA? Bill Herbkerman is one of those people who uses his powers to try to shut down Mr. Hoagland for doing the right thing, Mr Hoagland asks the question how are South Carolina residence tax dollars are being used. Bill Herbkerman calls Mr Hoagland "Little Man Syndrome", He states, I don't your a little man, I know it". Please see the Ad in this artical. These name calling emails is not the way anyone needs to be treated by an elected offical. These elected officals need to be called out and exposed for the misuse of their power. Mr Hoagland states "Its time to vote these corrupt elected officials out of office and get someone in that position who cares for the tax payers of South Carolina".
